2019 was a pivotal year for Kareem and me. It all changed in a matter of a month, November to be exact.

Eureka!

Blessings on blessings on blessings! God overwhelmed me, honestly, but I know he prepared me to receive and steward his resources to be a blessing to others.

I learned so much, but nothing sticks more than knowing the process is necessary. Everything you go through, you can learn and grow from, big or small. You also have to be ready to receive exactly what you prayed for.

God blessed me with a new job closer to home. This isn’t just any job, this is a first of its kind in the district. But no pressure! I’m responsible for creating and building a community school within the high school I’m assigned.

Not only did I receive a new job, He also blessed us with a new house that we’re expecting to close on in June 2020. It doesn’t stop there, He gave me a vision to start a blog with no real direction other than to encourage and inspire an audience he sends to me.

“Now to him who can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that is at work in us…” Ephesians 3:20

These blessings were birth out of a season that required me to look to Him and only him. There was nothing or no one that could have provided for me the way he has. It was in this season where i learned of Gods love in a new light. Yes, I’ve always known that God loved me but my relationship with God has a new meaning. Don’t mistake this message, it has nothing to do with stuff that he has given me but everything to do with what he entrusts me with to bless others.

Prayer for 2020: Gracious God, thank you for all that you have done in my life and all that you plan to do in this upcoming year. God you have been so faithful to me and I can’t thank you enough. You love me so much God, beyond what I can comprehend, and I thank you for always being with me and walking with me. God help me to be so sensitive to your voice and to know when you are speaking. You are a lamp to my feet and light to my path. Your ways are perfect. Father help me to use what you have given me to bless and honor those in my sphere of influence. God, I pray that every experience I have draws me closer to you. I can’t do anything without you, and I need you in every area of my life. Thank you for your love, grace, and mercy. In Jesus name.
